At the House of Lamentation, MC comes across Mammon and Leviathan and asks for their help. Satan arrives, annoyed, because their discussion is not over. He talks to them about a novel called Oshi Ne-Ko. Initially, MC thought that the older brothers were responsible for something they had done. However, they soon realize they didn't do anything wrong. Mammon explains that during the morning, someone unintentionally added a revelation tomato to their breakfast, and Satan ate it. Since then, he can't stop talking about books. Mammon and Leviathan ask MC to listen to him on their behalf.

Satan is delighted that MC agreed to listen to him. He decides to talk about his favorite books, such as 36 Beautiful Things in the Devildom or Curses and Hexes for Dummies. After several hours, during which Satan describes what he appreciates in these novels, MC interrupts his enthusiasm by pointing out that it's nighttime. Satan invites MC to stay the night at the House of Lamentation, and suggests that they retrieve their belongings from the Cocytus Hall while he gathers more books he wants to discuss.

In the hall, MC encounters Levi and Mammon again, who inquire about how things are going with Satan. They are surprised that MC decided to spend the night in his room listening to him, and suggest MC to not push themselves too hard when it comes to that. In Satan's room, he talks to them about an adventure novel. Satan used to believe that reading was a solo pastime, but he found out that it's enjoyable to read with someone. MC responds that they also enjoy reading alongside him, making Satan glad. Then, he shares his favorite romance story with MC. Satan appreciates this story because of the romance between an emotionless android who discovers love and a human. He relates to what the protagonist feels. Like the android, Satan understands that what he feels for MC is love and confesses his feelings to them.

"A calm day is the best."
Satan didn't intend to say it, but the revelation tomato makes him reveal his feelings. He tells MC that he feels pathetic when he's not in control of himself. MC responds that they love him as he is, and Satan is happy that they accept him whatever the circumstances. Depending on MC's choice, they can either continue reading the next part of the story or kiss him. In the morning, MC is awakened by Satan, already prepared to attend class. They notice that the effects of the revelation tomato have worn off. Satan suggests a relaxing breakfast since it's early. MC point out that he has a bad case of bedhead, and he angrily fixes it. MC tells Satan that they appreciate when he's honest and open with his feelings like he was yesterday. However, he won't be as honest as he was. Nevertheless, he's willing to discuss other books he likes with them since he considers them as his confidant. He urges them to get out of bed or they might be late.
