Overview[edit]
Demmunication, also called De-comm, is a communication app that can be accessed via the center icon on the home screen. Here, MC can receive text messages and phone calls initiated by characters with the D.D.D., can interact with them using dialogue choices and stickers, and can initiate certain texts and calls.
MC is able to call the characters whenever they want by selecting their conversation thread from the "History" tab, but if they do not select a specific conversation from the Memory Box, the character will not pick up and their voicemail will play instead.
MC also has a special ability called "Eye See You" which allows them to view messages between other characters unbeknownst to them.
New chats are acquired in three ways: by reading through certain story stages in Lessons, automatically with Daily Chats, and by obtaining cards with chat Devil's Tree spaces. New phone calls are obtained through Lessons or by raising a character's intimacy score.
When the player receives a call or chat, they will receive a notification, but they are not required to answer in real time. If they miss the notification, the call or chat will be found in the "History" tab of the app. Chats and calls can be replayed via the Memory Box button once players have either read the conversation or tapped the "Mark All as Read" button located on the main Chat page.
The player is also able to send friend requests to other players, which allows them to send and/or receive AP from them.
