Story Summary
Mammoney
"Everyone is so honest."
Beelzebub, Simeon, Mephistopheles, and MC have to write a group report on phenomena related to the Cold Snap. Mephistopheles comments he would have finished faster if he worked alone, as he's practiced in writing summaries of current events for the RAD Newspaper. Simeon asks how Mephistopheles fared during the worst of the cold snap, and he responds that he nearly turned into a block of ice, but thanks to Diavolo's notice about high spirits combating the cold, was spared from freezing.
Beelzebub then says he wants their report to be about food. Simeon says he'd prefer writing about mysterious occurrences, and Mephistopheles suggests plants or animals. The three get into an argument over what should be chosen, but eventually they decide to research all three, then pick one for the report later.
Lucifer
"Do you intend on leaving th..."
Beelzebub leaves, and shortly after brings back a behemoth pumpkin that grew to giant size due to the cold snap. He wants to use it to make a cake, then write a report on how good it tastes. Mephistopheles refuses, and points out that these pumpkins aren't unique to the cold snap. He thinks they should find something more impressive for the report, and Simeon thinks he does have a point. MC can also agree, or can suggest they set the idea aside for now.

The group heads into a snowy forest, as Mephistopheles wants to look for a floating ghost clione rumors say appeared after the cold snap started. Simeon mentions they are supposedly only one centimeter tall, and MC can either say that won't be easy to find, or suggest they all look together. Either way, the groups can't find anything after a long search, and MC can say either they stop, or should continue looking. Due to worries about finishing the report on time, either way they move on to Simeon's idea of mysterious phenomena.

Simeon mentions that other groups are already covering every other topic he finds, which means they'll have to "do the legwork themselves." MC can suggest either writing a report about the giant pumpkins, returning to the search for the ghost clione, or have the group wander the forest to try finding something noteworthy.
Suddenly, the forest fills with fog, and Mephistopheles spots a ghost clione. Simeon thinks they found one now because of the fog. Beelzebub then says he smells "something nice," and Simeon spies strange blue mushrooms that weren't there before. Beelzebub starts eating them, and MC can either ask if he's sure those aren't poisonous, or how the mushrooms taste. If the former, Beelzebub assures MC they smelled safe. Simeon realizes they've found a rare creature, new food, and mysterious phenomenon all at once, so they decide to report on all of them.
