While heading home from RAD, Lucifer invites MC for a detour when a cloud of soap bubbles fly by. MC can try to pop the bubbles, however Lucifer warns against being reckless. They witness a few students suddenly disappear while within the cloud and Lucifer deduces the cause was being in contact with the suds. After MC either defends Lucifer from nearby bubbles using magic, or suggests to warn Diavolo about the situation, Solomon rushes to their side and asks for assistance to search for the missing students. The trio manages to find the missing students in an empty classroom. When Lucifer insists on an explanation from Solomon, Diavolo appears with a request for MC and Lucifer to aid with an event hosted by the Scary Freaks.

Diavolo accompanies Lucifer and MC to the student council room where Asmodeus briefs the situation. He informs them of a group of artists - known as the Scary Freaks - who frequently host events across Devildom; their most recent event being located at Devil's Coast. As an influencer, the group had requested Asmodeus for a partnership and Asmodeus asked for advice from Diavolo about managing the project. Diavolo enlisted Solomon and Barbatos to contribute to the event who develop teleporting bubbles and prepare refreshments, respectively. Asmodeus reiterates the need for confidentiality as they planned the event out of consideration to not burden Lucifer with more work. Hesitant, Lucifer agrees to lend his assistance and MC follows suit. Asmodeus sends off the duo with an assignment to choose background music for the show's performances.

Lucifer and MC arrive at the Devil's Coast to watch the remaining rehearsals for the event. Lucifer becomes doubtful about their choice of background music for the shows, though MC persuades him to have more confidence. Once the rehearsal starts, Lucifer suggests moving to a secluded area to watch. MC can alert Lucifer about a cloud of straggling bubbles floating their direction from the show. However, the warning proves to be in vain as Lucifer determines the bubbles to be harmless. They celebrate a job well done when choosing suitable background music and Lucifer mentions he owns a pair of tickets to formally go to the Scary Freaks event. MC can suggest the outing to be a date, and Lucifer doesn't disapprove of the idea.

Lucifer and MC attend the Scary Freaks event as part of the management team and decide to explore the Devil's Coast while they wait for the event to start. They enter the Devil's Mansion attraction, and MC can comment on the unfitting rainbow ghosts or the unfrightening atmosphere. Lucifer will either concur with MC, even though other guests seem to enjoy the decor, or respond with annoyance towards the animated ghosts inviting them to dance, respectively. If MC chooses the latter, they can further choose to hold hands or cling onto Lucifer's arm as they exit the attraction. They briefly rest at a café, where Lucifer compliments the latte art, before returning to the main venue. Asmodeus quickly gifts Lucifer an item before returning to the crowd, and Lucifer reveals the item to be a bubble blowing set from the human world. MC can try to pop a bubble in front of his face or urge Lucifer to blow a stream of bubbles, and Lucifer will comment on MC's failed attempt at surprising him or the appeal of blowing multiple smaller bubbles, respectively. Lucifer compares the temporary bubbles to creating a long-lasting memory and they continue to blow bubbles until the bubble solution runs out.
