Story Summary
Note: This Devilgram's story content is identical in both "Obey Me!" and "Nightbringer."

"Was he alone all that time?"
This takes place in an alternate universe. MC is awakened by a person who is unknown to them. This person, named Satan, explains the situation: MC was close to Satan. Unfortunately, a sorcerer transformed them into a puppet and took MC far away. Moreover, they lost all their memories from when they were human. Since that day, Satan has been searching for years for MC until he finds them asleep in this place. MC wants to recover their memories. Satan reassures them that they will eventually regain their memory. Then, he proposes to take MC to one of their favorite places, hoping they will eventually recover some memories.

"A trip down memory lane."
Satan takes MC to a forest where they used to create campfires, pick fruit, or feed stray cats. During this time, they decide to play in the snow. Satan suggests to MC that they either build a snowman or have a snowball fight. After playing, MC is still worried about not regaining their memories. Satan tells them not to worry too much about it. He then invites MC to his house to prepare a meal they used to enjoy.

"It will take a dark turn."
Satan brings MC a soup he used to cook when it's cold. Puppets that were once humans can still eat. MC learns that Satan not only searched for them, but also gathered information about puppets and curses. MC finds the soup delicious, making Satan glad that they still have the same tastes as before. He then tells MC that they're still themselves inside, even though their body has changed. Satan also brings some bread to eat with the soup. After eating, MC asks Satan if he's worried about their memory. He responds that instead of dwelling on the past, he prefers to create new memories in the present. To end the day, Satan invites them to relax by reading.

"Self-sacrifice isn't the answer."
It's been 5 days since they've been reunited. Satan cherishes the joyful memories he's creating with MC and thanks them. MC wants to make more memories. However, they feel like he's saying goodbye to them. Satan reminds them that he researched about puppets and curses and found a way to lift the curse. However, this involves passing the curse to someone else. Even before finding MC, Satan intended to take their place, despite their objections. He doesn't mind being a puppet as long as he can keep those wonderful memories. Satan lifts the curse, becoming a puppet, while MC becomes human again. MC recovers their memories, and can either tell Satan that they were lovers or close friends. Satan is glad that MC remembers. Though the curse breaks Satan's body, MC wants to stay with him and lift the curse. Despite being a broken puppet, Satan can still move and decides he won't give up until his body is completely wrecked.
