MC asks what Beelzebub is looking for in the library of the House of Lamentation. Beelzebub was inspired by his and MC's study session, and wonders if there's any foods that are good for your brain and can make you smarter. But Beelzebub is getting hungry, so MC suggests asking around instead. The two go to the Demon Lord's Castle to ask Barbatos. In return, Barbatos requests their help preparing a creature called a mold shark.

Barbatos explains that mold sharks are completely edible, and legend says their eyes can grant the wisdom of the Devildom. Beelzebub agrees to help cook one, and Barbatos assures it will not be dangerous. Later at the House of Lamentation, Beelzebub excitedly tells Luke and Simeon about the mold shark. They warn Beelzebub to be careful, because mold sharks have a peculiar quirk.

Later on in the castle's kitchen, Beelzebub is nervous to start cooking. MC explains that they heard mold sharks can explode, or that they thrash around violently. Depending on their choice, they must either subdue the mold shark with strength or magic, or submerge it underwater to stop it from detonating. Afterwards, they discover that the mold shark's eyes have disappeared. Barbatos explains that this is common during preparation, which is why the eyes are so rare.

Beelzebub realizes that he's the only one who can see the eyes. Beelzebub asks MC to cast a spell to make him move faster, and he catches the eyes in his hands. They were moving too fast to see, but his eyes were well-trained from playing sports. Barbatos explains that the mold shark's magic is stored in its eyes, which causes them to crystalize. Later in the park, Beelzebub is happy to bring home the finished dishes. But he's disappointed that the eyes didn't make him smarter. If MC tells Beelzebub that they love him just the way he is, they can kiss him or hold his hand.
