Story Summary
Note: This Devilgram's story content is identical in both "Obey Me!" and "Nightbringer."

"I know some good stores."
MC finds Mephistopheles outside some shops pondering over where to go. They approach him, startling him. Mephistopheles tells them that he's been selected to represent his family at a party with a competitive gift exchange event, however he is struggling to find something that hasn't been brought before. Knowing that MC is a master of surprise, he enlists their help in finding a gift.

"That's a good idea."
In another part of town, MC finds Thirteen chasing after lost souls with no luck. She wishes there was something that could comfort the souls and lead them to her, causing MC to suggest the phantom butterflies. This gives Thirteen an idea. She suggests the two of them talk to the phantom butterflies.
Lucifer
"You found the perfect guide."
Now in the forest, Thirteen suggests having a picnic to lure the phantom butterflies out of hiding. She uses one of her traps to summon sandwiches, tea, and a blanket. She then gives MC their lunch, which when opened reveals a fruit sandwich that "might look hungry," but Thirteen assures MC it doesn't bite. Phantom butterflies begin to come towards the picnic after hearing MC and Thirteen laughing. Thirteen goes to negotiate with them, which ends with them agreeing to guide any lost souls they see to her. As thanks for helping her, Thirteen asks if there's anything MC wants.

MC asks for a purgatory moon lamp, which surprises Thirteen, as she didn't expect MC to have an interest in something that valuable. She guesses it's not for them, but for someone else. She agrees to give it to them, but tells them to make sure they get what they're owned in return. She also gives MC a bracelet from the phantom butterflies, as they gave her two. MC meets up with Mephistopheles in the newspaper club room and gives him the lamp. As thanks, he invites MC to join him at the party he's been invited to. However, he doesn't want MC to embarrass him, so he gives them a dance lesson. He admits he was preparing for the worst with this event, but realizes it's important to know when to rely on others. He stops himself before saying more, instead telling MC to look forward to the party.
