Night Dagger

The Night Dagger is a powerful magical item first mentioned by Diavolo in Lesson 37-9, and has the reputation of being powerful enough to kill even demons. Solomon also stated that even handling the dagger properly is not a simple task.
Story[edit]
Main Story and Events[edit]
The Night Dagger was kept inside a book called "The Prison of the Soul," which Solomon took from the Reaper's Cave in Lesson 36. The dagger was a way to sever the "ring" that MC's connection to all of the three worlds created, and put a stop to the destructive phenomena their uncontrolled powers were causing. However, because the dagger is so old, Solomon realizes in Lesson 38-12 that its powers have weakened over the years.
The only way to restore the Night Dagger's power would be to use it to kill a demon, whose power then would be absorbed. Lucifer overheard Solomon tell MC this, and after telling Solomon to leave, attempted to convince MC to use the dagger on him. Simeon interrupted this, and put the Ring of Light onto MC's finger. With the Ring of Light in MC's possession, severing the ring their powers had created was no longer necessary.
