Set in an alternate universe, Simeon and MC travel together to a distant village by Simeon's request. He spots a rare herb on the road, and MC questions the uses of the plant. Simeon informs MC that the herb was previously used for medicinal purposes, though now it is primarily used for cooking due to its ability to neutralize the scent of raw meats and pleasant fragrance. With a sudden chuckle, Simeon recalls his journeys as a sorcerer being constantly lonely and feared for his magic. He expresses gratitude for MC joining his travels and treasures their time chatting with one another, though it took a lot of courage from both sides to trust each other and travel together. They finally arrive at the town where a lively festival is being hosted. Simeon spots a nearby puppeteer who explains he cannot work due to an injury. Simeon offers to assist the downhearted puppeteer.

Simeon skillfully handles and manipulates the puppet as a crowd starts to form around him. After the crowd applauds and disperses, Simeon returns the newly earned income to the puppeteer and the puppeteer gives back half of his earnings as thanks for Simeon's assistance. MC can choose between having their fortune told or witnessing magic tricks when Simeon questions what they should spend their newfound earnings on. Depending on the answer chosen, Simeon and MC visit the respective venues. If MC chooses to have their fortune told, MC can ask about their journey ahead or what they would eat for dinner. Depending on the option chosen, will Simeon respond - via reading a crystal ball - that their journey will be successful, or that their dinner will feature vegetables, respectively. If MC chooses to watch the magic show, then Simeon will admire the magician's skill and sleight of hand.

As they finish viewing all the stalls at the festival, Simeon suggests staying at an inn and having dinner. MC comments on Simeon's small appetite, though Simeon simply responds that watching MC dine is already fulfilling. Once they pass the night at the inn, Simeon explains their plan to travel northward to an abandoned building while MC responds with surprise that he had planned an objective for their journey. They arrive at the estate, though the building shows no sign of abandonment. The estate's lights illuminate the grounds and Simeon comments as if the building was expecting his return. They enter the manor and Simeon wonders if a spell was cast to keep the inside tidy. Simeon informs MC that he awoke within the manor hundreds of years ago. MC can either speculate about Simeon's potential vampiric relations or inquire about his age. Simeon will either respond by dismissing any claims or sighing as he had lost track of counting the years he was conscious, respectively.

Simeon supports his confession by uncovering a puppet joint and revealing that although he can eat, he often doesn't become hungry. Simeon further explains about recalling the abandoned manor when his body started to break down. Simeon apologizes for selfishly requesting MC to accompany him on his journey, and he starts saying farewell. MC can retort by either suggesting to find a spell to repair his puppet body, or magic to turn Simeon into a human. To either option, Simeon concludes MC's solutions to be plausible and Simeon expresses joy that MC wants to continue traveling together. They both settle on a plan to travel east early the next day, and they head to sleep. The next morning, MC can greet Simeon with either a hug or a kiss to which Simeon will either tease about MC squeezing his fragile body, or request for another kiss, respectively. As they leave the manor, Simeon believes that he and MC could overcome any challenge within their journey, and he hopes MC could remain by his side.
