"That was the best he could..."
In an alternate universe, the Great Detective MC encounters the Phantom Thief Beelzebub, who has stolen the Demon King's treasured Dusk Star. Unable to stop him, Beel remarks that they'll meet again "Before my stomach growls." Later at the House of Lamentation, Lucifer reveals the phantom thief has sent a letter proclaiming he is going to come steal the Fallen Angel's Tear at the stroke of midnight. Detective Satan mentions Beel may have a weakness, and asks MC to meet Beelzebub outside to stop him once and for all.

"There's gotta be someth..."
The Phantom Thief Beelzebub and the Great Detective MC meet outside the House of Lamentation. Beel asks MC why they think he arrived early. He reveals that he has other business to attend to before stealing the Fallen Angel's Tear. Beel gets away again, with the same catchphrase "Before my stomach growls." MC goes after Beel, finding him in the kitchen eating all the food.
Lucifer
"Don't ruin my image."
Beelzebub hears footsteps coming, but refuses to give up on his heist. Detective Satan enters the room, and MC tells him that they've figured out the Phantom Thief's weakness. MC decides to leave out plates of food as a trap. This attracts Lucifer, who was actually the Phantom Thief Beel in disguise. He reveals that he is headed to the underground tomb to steal the tear, and decides to take MC with him as a hostage.

"So there was an ulterior mo..."
After Beelzebub finishes his food, he and MC head to the underground tomb. No one is there, which leads Beel to believe it's a trap. As he grabs the tear, Detective Satan appears to stop him. Beel throws Satan the tear, remarking that he's decided to steal MC instead. He gets away with his signature catchphrase, and asks MC why they chose to stay with him. It is revealed that the diamond Beel tossed Satan was a fake, and that MC was only posing as The Great Detective in order to steal the diamond for themselves. He gives MC the diamond, and MC has the opportunity to hug him, kiss him, or shake his hand before becoming Phantom Thief partners in crime.
