Story Summary

Mammoney
"What cube?!"

Solomon comes across MC at RAD, and asks them to help him with a little experiment. He was looking through a spellbook, and came up with an idea to create a box that wouldn't let anyone out until they told the truth, naming it "The Box of Truth". Solomon instructs MC through the spell, and they proceed to draw the box together. Then he channels magic through it, and the spell is a success. Solomon only then seems to realize that they've trapped themselves in the box. Barbatos and Satan show up, the former saying that they seem to be doing something interesting. Satan asks them what the box is, so Solomon explains their mistake.

"Light novels can be really dreamy!"

Satan says this reminds him of a novel he read the other day. The plot was similar, with a room asking participants to solve riddles and do challenges, for example, to kiss. Solomon admits that the requirements for escaping the box are unclear. Satan asks him if they shouldn't just tell the truth. Barbatos proposes to confess to lies that they have told in the past. Solomon confesses that Asmodeus recently asked him about his fortune, and the results weren't very good, so he gave him vague answers. MC can either say that they lied about a recent test being a breeze, or that they complimented a meal that they didn't like. At the first option, Satan and Solomon laugh, understanding. At the second option, Solomon asks them if they didn't like his homemade syrup for pancakes.

Belphie
"Mammon will get hung from t..."

The box starts glowing, but otherwise nothing happens. Solomon doesn't understand why, asking Satan to show him the spellbook. It turns out because MC helped Solomon create the box, it's infused with both their magic, making it extra powerful. To dispel it, they not only need to tell the truth, but also have a powerful demon's intervention. At the House of Lamentation, Lucifer is punishing Mammon, who is surprised about MC and Solomon's situation. Lucifer chastises him, asking if Mammon really has the time to worry about other people. Mammon apologizes for stealing his credit card, but doesn't appear very remorseful. Lucifer tells Solomon he's rather busy at the moment, so he and MC decide to look for the help of someone else.

AsmoBaby
"My friendship with Solomon!"

Diavolo greets them at the Demon Lord's Castle. Solomon explains to him the situation, and asks if he could help. Diavolo then charges the box with his demonic energy, and Solomon notes that now only one more truthful statement should break the spell. Diavolo says that a secret may be more effective. Back at Solomon's room, MC can either admit they used Asmodeus's shampoo without his permission, that they slept through their classes the day before, or confess that they had a dream that they were a millionaire. Then it's Solomon's turn. MC can ask if he has a partner, and he does not; inquire about his birth date, which is the ninth; or ask him to tell them something he's never told anyone before, his answer being he once published a book about fish. The box then breaks, and Solomon thanks MC for their help.
