Story Summary

"Cleaning? Are ya kiddin'..."
Luke and MC are cleaning one of the classrooms at RAD. They're mostly finished, but they still need to do the windows, frustrating Luke as he can't reach the top ones. MC ends up cleaning them for him. Luke tells them he won't be small forever and that one day he'll be able to reach whatever he wants without trying. Once they've finished, Luke plans on walking home with MC, but remembers his book is due and needs to run to the library.

"So cute, I can't help it..."
Luke goes to the library on his own and manages to return the book in time. He finds a cookbook he wants to read on one of the shelves, but it's too high up. He tries reaching for it, but falls. Lucifer and MC approach him, startling him. Lucifer tells Luke he'll grab the cookbook for him, but Luke declines, wanting to get it himself. Lucifer insists, picking Luke up so he can reach for the book.

"No noise in the library."
Luke instructs Lucifer on how to hold him so he can grab the book. Lucifer chuckles, comparing Luke's behavior to a chihuahua. Mammon drops by after hearing the ruckus, as well as Simeon. This flustered Luke, causing Lucifer to tell him to stop flailing and grab the book. Luke finally takes the book and reluctantly thanks Lucifer after he's set down.

Later at Purgatory Hall, Luke is feeling down because of an interaction he had with Lucifer after they left the library. Lucifer gave Luke hell milk, which helps demons grow bigger, but has no effect on non-demons. Simeon offers to warm up milk for everyone and when he returns, asks Luke if he's been worrying about his height. Luke says he has, telling Simeon about how he needed MC's help cleaning the windows and how Lucifer had to lift him to get a book. Before Simeon can finish his sentence, he drops a spoon. As he tries to get it he bumps his head against the table. Luke gets the spoon for Simeon, and MC tells him being small helped. This cheers Luke up, but he says it doesn't mean he's giving up on getting taller.
