Synopsis
Plans are being worked on to celebrate Simeon's birthday at the Three-Legged Crow Group's private retreat. However, Simeon is aware of said plans, and wants to have a "reverse surprise" in the form of an escape room at the retreat. As more people become aware of each other's plans, secrets and surprises just keep layering up!
Summary
MC visits the members of Purgatory Hall. A story Simeon is telling the group is interrupted by a summons from Barbatos to visit him at the Demon Lord's Castle. The remaining group starts to discuss plans for Simeon's upcoming birthday. Before they are able to proceed too far in their discussion, Diavolo knocks on the door explaining that Barbatos calling Simeon to the castle was part of their plan to discuss plans without him.
After some time the discussion leads to many great ideas, but they are unable to decide on just one as they know Simeon would like all of them. Diavolo suggests that they incorporate all of the ideas in one large scale party, and suggests the Three-Legged Crow Group's private retreat.
The next day in the hall of RAD, MC runs into Simeon who apologizes for leaving in the middle of their visit to Purgatory Hall. He tells them what Barbatos called him for before telling them that he actually knew the real reason for his summons as a distraction for their planning. He asks them to help him with a plan for a "reverse surprise" of some kind. Afterwards, MC meets with Diavolo and all of the brothers in the student council room to ask the brothers to join them in the large party planning. After Satan agrees to help he steps aside with MC to tell them that he overheard the conversation with Simeon, and he asks to join the "reverse surprise team".
Later at Purgatory Hall, Satan, Simeon, and MC meet to plan the reverse surprise. After learning the locate of the surprise party Simeon gets the idea to plan an escape room game at the private retreat for everyone to take part in. To help with the planning he suggests they play one in Purgatory Hall first. Unfortunately, Satan cannot participate as he has to return home so that no one is suspicious of a long absence from him. MC proves to be a natural at the game and finished just before Solomon, Raphael, and Luke return home and share a meal.
Some time later back in the RAD student council room, the brothers are all discussing various aspects of the party planning when Diavolo pulls MC aside to talk. He leads them away on an errand to show off a room they have prepared for the party. While there he expresses his concerns regarding if Simeon will really like their party or not, and tells them that he knows the three of them are planning something. MC lets him in on the secret, telling them about their reverse surprise plan, and he immediately asks to be included. MC calls Simeon to join them to discuss what he can do to assist.
On the day of his birthday, Simeon and MC meet up with Satan and he reports that everything is set up and prepared for the escape room game to begin.
